Angelica Porreca is one of the best in the business. As a Building and Design Consultant for ABN Group’s flagship premium brand, Webb and Brown-Neaves, Angelica has worked in the business for over 8 years, starting at Dale Alcock Homes and helping more than 200 clients build their dream home. She has earned countless awards and prides herself on her exceptional work ethic.

Angelica has always worked in related industries, including Hotel Sales and running her own door company, specialising in Italian imports and accessories, until 2010. Her background in Sales coupled with her own personal building experience gave her the confidence to excel at the ABN Group.
“I felt that with my building experience I could assist people in improving their lifestyle. I have built 5 homes of my own, done 2 sub-divisions, and 2 major renovations. I am passionate about construction,” she said.
Angelica, who is consistently recognised for her professionalism, credits her success on her ability to adapt. “I am prepared to take on feedback, change and improve. Nothing stay the same in this industry,” she says. “If you can do that, you will be successful.”
Angelica has won countless Sales awards from the ABN Group. Her proudest achievement is winning Sales Professional of the year 3 times, in 2015, 2016, and 2018. This achievement requires not only a high number of sales but also votes from peers within the business that recognise integrity, team work and professionalism.
When asked why she loves working for Webb & Brown-Neaves, and the ABN Group, she declared security. “The reason I work for the ABN Group is because I feel secure,” she said.
“I can make a commitment to a client and know that the company will back me and the customer. The industry has changed a lot since I started and I love the fact that the ABN Group are reliable and financially sound.”
Something else Angelica loves about her role with Webb & Brown-Neaves is the excitement; no two days are the same. Our Building and Design Consultants work with all different types of clients, whether that be upsizers, downsizers, investors, or those wanting to see their dream home come to life.
“There is no typical day for a Building & Design Consultant,” she says. “You need a balance between managing clients’ expectations and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. It is quite exciting and dynamic.”
“The best part of my job is helping people make the right decisions and build the home they desire. Building a home can be stressful, so it’s my job to listen and be by their side ensuring a fun and exciting experience.”
Angelica’s top ten tips for your next home:
1. Know your budget and make sure it is confirmed by a finance specialist.
2. Know the suburb you want to live in. Look at proximity to work, the location of your children’s school/s and your hobbies.
3. Familiarise yourself with different designs before you begin the building process. Look at newspapers, magazines, Pinterest, design journals – anything that inspires you!
4. Do not underestimate the visual component – accumulate images and ideas of things you would like to see in your new home. We use this extensively in the design process.
5. Make a list of furniture, transport and sporting goods, that you will need to accommodate in your new home.
6. Everyone is busy, so it is important to understand the amount of time you will need to dedicate to the process. Work out when the best times for you are and your preferred communication method and tell your consultant so they can work around your routine making for a smoother experience.
7. Be clear about when you want to be moving in to your new home.
8. Provide us with input from the whole family about how you are going to live in the home. It’s important we design a home that matches your lifestyle.
9. Find a Building and Design Consultant that is experienced and knows how to listen.
10. The most important tip I can give is to find a reputable builder that will listen to your requirements and is financially sound.
